Justin Moore
LANDSCAPE DESIGNER
Justin Moore is a landscape designer with a passion for sustainable landscape design, community development, and urban planning. Coming from his hometown of College Station, TX, Justin came to Baton Rouge to attend LSU and graduated from the Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture in 2023. While there, he participated as a school ambassador, member of the student chapters of ASLA and NAMLA (National Association of Minority Landscape Architects).
With prior work experience in parks planning and transportation offices, he has learned to engage with projects from both a top down and bottom-up perspective to reach a well-balanced design for clients and users alike. Through following a variety of human-centric design principles, he seeks to work with the various communities of south Louisiana to deliver sensible and sustainable design solutions.
Justin's holistic design approach is best exemplified by his work, including his capstone project in the historic St. Catherine neighborhood of Natchez, MS. By applying urban planning principles such as active community engagement, historic preservation, and strategic project funding, Justin crafted a plan that goes beyond aesthetics goes beyond aesthetics to address the needs of the community. His outlook emphasizes the importance of supporting equitable planning and infrastructure in every project, fostering success and uplifting communities.
