Alyssa Catanese

Alyssa is a Baton Rouge native who earned her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Louisiana State University in 2022. She began her professional career in Asheville, North Carolina, where she gained experience working on a variety of projects, including single and multi-family communities, active adult resorts, mountainside homes, and golf course developments.

Her work sparked a strong interest in planting design, with a focus on creating engaging outdoor spaces that support pollinators, invite wildlife, spark curiosity, and encourage people to slow down and connect with their surroundings. Alyssa also enjoys 3D modeling, using it to visualize how spaces will be experienced before they are built. Her interest in digital environments is closely tied to her love of video games, which influence how she thinks about scale, detail, and user experience.
